SEO Account Director – Up to £50k – Manchester City Centre (Hybrid – 3 days in office) – Agency

Our client is one of the UK’s largest media agencies and they are on the hunt for a SEO Account Director. Having already proved to the market that they are leading digital media trends; they would be an amazing agency for you to join and become part of a large and supportive team.

The SEO Account Director is responsible for the performance, strategy, budgeting, and delivery of all SEO work for their client accounts, alongside supporting an Account Manager and Executive in their team. A key part of the role is to deliver world-class client service to maintain and improve the strength of the relationship with your clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Insuring clients receive excellent service as measured by both official and informal feedback.
  • Effectively expanding new business chances and taking on new ventures.
  • Effectively manage accounts, financial procedures, and profitability.
  • Management and development of your team.
  • Timely and accurate completion of specified work.
  • Fulfilment of objectives listed in appraisals
  • Participation in new business and publicity for new wins and campaigns.
  • Actively participate in the development, expansion, and success of the team.
  • Set a good example for others in terms of time management, admin, and billings.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Excellent digital content and SEO knowledge
  • Experience with SEO tools such as Majestic SEO, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, MOZ and Google Search Console.
  • Knowledge of enterprise SEO suites such as Search Metrics, Linkdex and Hitwise.
  • Commercially aware and proven track record of business development
  • Deep understanding of the digital content and SEO marketplace, relevant tools, techniques and risk management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passion for outstanding client service.
  • Negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Creative thinking.
  • Workflow management, delegation and prioritisation.
  • Positive, dynamic and motivational management skills.
  • Sound financial awareness, including processes and budget control.
  • Strategic thinking including analytical skills, evaluation of key trends and client results data.
