Phil reached out to me on LinkedIn for a couple of roles he thought I would be suitable for, after reading my profile. At the time I was not looking for a new role but wanted to see what options were available. Phil arranged an initial discussion where we spoke about my experiences and what I was looking for in my career. With this additional info, Phil reached out to a couple of companies he believed would be the best fit for me and arranged an interview. In fact, for one role Phil managed to arrange an interview the same day.

Despite me not looking for a new role at the time, I decided to take one of the roles. Throughout the whole process Phil kept me informed and ensured things were moving. He checked that I had received all the relevant on-boarding resources and equipment and, as a nice touch, checked in on my first day to wish me luck and see how I got on.

You don't really know what to expect when a recruiter reaches out to you via LinkedIn, but on this occasion it worked out brilliantly. Phil is great at what he does and I couldn't recommend him more (with both my hats on - candidate and hiring manager).
