Studio and Traffic Manager jobs are vital to the smooth running of an advertising agency or creative department. Sitting between the account handling department and the creative and development department, they not only ensure that work is being evenly distributed, but also, that everything is on time and within budget. If resource is low, they are responsible for finding freelancers to pitch in with projects and making sure that there is cohesion and communication between the teams and stakeholders.
To be a strong Studio or Traffic Manager, you will devise and adhere to strict time schedules and workflows, and so it’s important that Studio Managers are process-driven, organised and most importantly, calm under pressure! Without a Manager in place, the creative team could get incredibly disorganised and chaotic, with Designers backlogged in projects.
