An Account Assistant job in a marketing role is an entry-level position that will help a marketing team achieve specific goals and objectives. It will come with lots of training that will help you work on the fundamental elements of managing a marketing campaign. The role will include compiling results, monitoring the fulfilment of campaigns, helping with presentations, optimisation of campaigns and helping to manage suppliers or clients, to name a few. An Account Assistant normally reports to an Account Manager who would have had around 2 years experience in this role.
Account Assistants normally look for a new job if the sector or market they are working in at a junior level isn’t working out or maybe isn’t inspiring them. Are you looking for more training and support? Is the company you’re in not right for you for some reason? Maybe the team isn’t the right fit for you? Or maybe you’re keen to progress faster than the current role offers you? Get in touch with us for a chat. Sometimes not moving is the right option, but in other cases, some of the roles we have might well be worth exploring.
