A Front-end Developer’s job is to look after the area of the website that the user sees and interacts with and requires great visual and engagement. They will work closely with Graphic Designers to produce these assets in a bid to maximise the branding and functionality of the website. Working in both agency side and in-house teams, they will report into the Head of Development who will offer crucial support to the direction and final outcome of the websites.

These developers normally specialise in HTML, CSS, Javascript and jQuery languages to deliver the front end user experiences. Normally they will work closely with the Project Manager who is in control of the entire client requests where the front end development is the visual outcome of the website. They will complement the Back-end Developer’s work to ensure the seamless operation of the website. Developer roles are generally quite technical, where learning a programming language can lead to a great career in website development.
