Employees in client services jobs normally exist within larger creative agencies where there is a requirement to have a role that sits outside of hands-on account management. Whereas Account Managers specifically control the entire account to ensure the solution is delivered by drawing from different teams, client services focus specifically on client requirements and demands. This will include proactive solutions in order to enhance and develop campaigns and they will also have to deal with solving and helping with issues that may arise.

They will be required to have a very strong mix of both client service ethics and also have the ability to respond and deliver solutions in a very short space of time. With creative sector clients having a range of demands, attitudes and personalities, the client services person will have to have an excellent range of interpersonal skills that can be adapted to different people and backgrounds within the creative agency. From client meetings to wining and dinning, the role is a varied one that offers a lot to the right candidate!
