Reporting into the Managing Director, the Client Services Director’s job is generally threefold. Heading up the account management team, and assisting the Account Directors is crucial, you will be respected and knowledgeable, having strong understanding and capabilities in marketing and/or creativity. This position is also highly focused on business development, attending and leading new business pitches and building strong relationships with existing and new client contacts. Thirdly, the Client Services Director will help shape and review the accounts, ensuring that they remain profitable and sound.
This role is usually progression from Senior Account Director or Group Account Director level, and you will find this role in almost every agency, whether it be creative, marketing or digital. You will have a strong relationship with the Managing Director, being a crucial ally when reporting and suggesting further improvements and processes to implement.
