Head of Projects – Up to £55,000 – Agency –– Manchester (2 days in office per week)

We are in search of a naturally organised, commercially savvy, creative, and innovative problem solver to take the control of our clients Project Management team. In this key leadership role, you will be trusted with bringing creative concepts and productions to fruition.

The success of this agencies projects and productions will hinge on the Head of Projects ability to ensure they are executed to the highest standards, staying within budget and adhering to timelines. A social-first mindset is vital for this role, as the landscape is constantly evolving.

Responsibilities:

  • Play a pivotal role in leading, managing, and coaching the Projects team
  • Write submit and interrogate production briefs, negotiate fairly, and ensure seamless delivery of creative outputs.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive project schedules, timing plans, production plans, and WIPs. Plan, prioritise, and secure creative and production resources.
  • Project costing and resource management - Collaborate with senior to cost projects and operational effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the creative and production industry.
  • Be a clear, concise, and confident communicator internally and externally g. internal training sessions to educate the team and the wider agency.
  • Quality assurance and continuous improvement - always raise the standards with projects by owning reconciliations and hosting wash-ups, documenting and applying learnings to future work.

Requirements:

  • Background in Social, you know all the platforms and the value Social brings to brands
  • 7+ years of experience within project management within the creative industry.
  • Expertise in resource management and forecasting
  • Natural leader with Line management experience
  • Ability to ensure consistent delivery of industry-leading executions
  • An organised individual
