Working in an Mobile Engineer role
Mobile Engineers / Developers specialise in building applications for mobile devices, typically on either the Android or iOS platform. They’re often in charge of the whole development lifecycle from designing, coding and testing apps built with Kotlin for Android & Swift for iOS.
Mobile Engineers also now have cross-platform languages at their disposal that allow them to build a single application to work across both Android & iOS. These are usually built using React Native or Flutter. The advantage of this is that companies can now hire one engineer to build applications across both of the main app stores.
