Working in an Full Stack Developer role
The advantage of this for a company is they don’t have to hire separate front & back-end developers and the team being able to work across the stack means they can work through bottlenecks quicker by allocating anyone from the team to things rather than just a front or back-end specialist.
You’ll often find that a Fullstack Developer will be proficient in HTML, CSS & JavaScript on the front-end (and usually a framework / library such as React.js, Vue.js, Angular 2+ or Svelte) and a back-end language such as PHP, Ruby, Python, NodeJS, C# .NET or Java.
