Creative Strategists develop innovative campaign strategies, using research and data to drive brand messaging and achieve client goals.
Strategists - Bigger Picture People
Strategists are your thinkers, your analytical brains, your bigger picture people. They will be contributing to a campaign that drives innovation, change, and ultimately results. They will be liaising with Creative, Accounts, and Design to ensure not only is the project on brand, but pushing for fresh ideas.
Typically they will be creating strategy from research, competitor activity or data points, which will help them make strategic decisions. Within creative they will map out the approach, the tone and importantly the style of the creative treatments. They will work across many creative treatments and advertising channels, all coming together to push for overall messaging and either branding or call to action. Ideas will be created individually and developed by a team, going from concept to development then roll out..
The right candidate will have a mix of creative thinking and experience and have an analytical mind. Overlapped with commercial acumen, they will add a lot to a creative agency environment or help businesses generate revenue and return on investment. They will have worked through a number of job levels in their career and built a strong network and awareness of tools available to them to roll out the perfect creative strategy.
