Creative Full-Stack Development Jobs
Full-Stack Developers combine front-end and back-end skills to create complete web solutions, working on end-to-end development projects.
Building Complete Website Solutions
Those in Full-Stack Developer roles have the skills to create a complete website by combining the knowledge of both Front-End and Back-End development.
They may have experience with Node.js, Python, Ruby or Java for back-end development, alongside HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, React or Angular for front-end development. This will also connect with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or MongoDB to bring the different elements of a website together.
Full-Stack Developers need to understand client briefs and work to tight timescales to deliver projects. Their work is often linked to new website launches, website refreshes or other project-based development requirements.
This type of developer will often work within smaller agencies where they may have responsibility for building the entire website for clients, rather than being focused solely on either front-end or back-end development. They can also work independently or within client-side teams, particularly on temporary or project-based assignments.
Full-Stack Developers often have a background in Computer Science or Web Development. As their careers progress, they may move into roles such as Head of Development, Project Manager or Technical Manager.
