Overview

We are looking for an experienced PPC professional to join a growing performance marketing and technology business.

This is a senior client-facing role with responsibility for managing a portfolio of paid search accounts, driving performance against agreed targets and providing strategic and technical direction.

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, commercially minded and comfortable working with large-scale accounts, data and emerging marketing technology.

Flexible and remote working options are available.


Responsibilities

  • Own performance across a portfolio of client PPC accounts.
  • Develop and implement account strategy, including campaign structure, targeting, bidding and budget allocation.
  • Analyse performance data, identify issues and implement improvements.
  • Plan and prioritise optimisation and testing activity.
  • Manage day-to-day client relationships and present performance updates.
  • Identify and test new advertising technologies, tools and approaches.
  • Brief, review and support junior team members.
  • Contribute to internal processes, best practices and account management tools.
  • Help shape the use of automation and AI within paid search.


Requirements

Essential

  • 5+ years' experience working with Google Ads.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience owning client accounts and being accountable for performance.
  • Strong understanding of PPC, conversion tracking and measurement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior team members.
  • Good Excel and data-analysis skills.
  • Strong organisation, ownership and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.


Desirable

  • Experience with Microsoft Ads.
  • Python, Google Apps Script, VBA or other scripting experience.
  • Experience with analytics and tag-management platforms.
  • Experience with automation or marketing technology.
  • Additional language skills.
