We’re working with an established tech business that is looking for a strong marketing lead to help take the business through its next stage of growth. The company has a successful Saas platform and a clear opportunity to build on what is already working. They’re looking for someone who understands tech products, knows how to build a marketing function around them and is comfortable working in a business where things move quickly and priorities can change.

Role Responsibilities

·      Set the marketing plan and make sure it supports the wider goals of the business.

·      Develop the company’s positioning, messaging and approach to market.

·      Find new ways to attract and retain customers and help grow the platform.

·      Work closely with product, technology and commercial teams to bring ideas to life.

·      Use customer feedback and data to understand what is working and where there are opportunities.

·      Build out the marketing team and put the right structure and processes in place.

·      Take ownership of the day-to-day marketing activity as well as the longer-term plan.

Role Requirements

·      A strong track record in marketing within a technology or digital business.

·      Experience marketing a tech product and helping to scale a platform, ideally SaaS.

·      A good understanding of customer acquisition and what drives commercial growth.

·      Someone who can get into the detail but also step back and think about the bigger picture.

·      Comfortable working closely with product, technology and commercial teams.

·      Experience building or developing a marketing team would be useful.

·      Commercial, practical and hands-on, with the confidence to make decisions and get things moving.
