A major organisation within the transport and infrastructure sector is looking to appoint a Head of PR and Communications. The business has a significant national presence and plays an important role in its industry, with a strong focus on reputation, visibility and clear communication. It is a fast paced environment where collaboration, credibility and confident storytelling really matter.
This is a senior position leading all PR and communications activity, shaping how the organisation engages with the media, stakeholders and the wider public. You will act as a trusted voice for the business, managing press relationships, driving proactive stories and supporting crisis communications when needed. It is a hybrid role based in Liverpool and suits someone who enjoys being hands on while also operating at a strategic level.
What you will be doing…
- Leading PR and communications activity across the organisation
- Managing relationships with national press and handling media enquiries
- Writing and overseeing press releases and key messaging
- Supporting crisis communications and ensuring consistent reputation management
- Driving broad awareness and reach through proactive storytelling
