We are seeking a visionary and analytically driven Head of Performance Marketing & Product Activation Strategy to lead our clients marketing intelligence and activation efforts. This role sits at the top of their marketing structure and works in close partnership with our data science team to unlock growth across paid channels, affiliates, and emerging opportunities.

You will be responsible for designing and executing sophisticated segmentation and testing strategies across Google and Bing Shopping, leveraging a dynamic catalogue of over 25 million products and onboarding 1–4 million new SKUs monthly. Your mission is to identify high-propensity products, optimise activation strategies, and drive efficient, scalable growth.

What you'll be doing...
  • Segmentation & Testing: Develop and refine segmentation models to identify high-opportunity product clusters. Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests across campaign structures and channels. Collaborate with data scientists to build and iterate on propensity models using pricing, performance, and behavioural data.
  • Channel Activation: Lead activation strategies across Google Shopping, Bing Shopping, Paid Social, Paid Search, and Affiliate Marketing. Optimise product-level bidding and campaign structures to minimise cost and risk while maximising ROI. Use insights from testing to inform broader marketing strategies and budget allocation.
  • Data Collaboration: Partner with data science to ingest and analyse pricing, performance, and competitive data. Translate complex data outputs into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Attribution & Analytics: Own the attribution framework across channels, ensuring accurate measurement and reporting. Continuously improve models for understanding customer journeys and product performance.
  • Strategic Leadership: Act as a senior leader within the marketing team, shaping the future of our client’s performance marketing. Mentor and guide junior marketers and analysts, fostering a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision-making.
What we're looking for...
  • Proven experience in performance marketing, ideally in eCommerce or marketplaces with large product catalogues.
  • Deep expertise in Google Shopping, Bing Shopping, and paid media strategy.
  • Strong understanding of data science principles, especially around segmentation, propensity modelling, and attribution.
  • Experience working with large datasets and collaborating with technical teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to testing, optimisation, and activation.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate data into strategy.
