A fast-growing consumer brand in the health and beauty sector is seeking a commercially-driven Head of Digital to lead the development and performance of its digital ecosystem. This is a pivotal leadership role with full accountability for growth across Amazon, DTC, and digital marketing channels.
The successful candidate will be both a strategic leader and a hands-on operator combining commercial thinking with creative brand execution. This role sits at the heart of the marketing team, with the remit to shape a best-in-class digital experience across performance, content, ecommerce and CRM.
The Role
Reporting to the Marketing Director and managing a small team, this role offers the opportunity to define and execute the brand’s digital strategy end-to-end, with a focus on delivering strong commercial results through DTC and Amazon. As the digital guardian, the role will also ensure a full-funnel approach is applied across digital platforms, from driving awareness to maximising conversion.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & Leadership
- Define and deliver a growth-focused digital strategy across DTC and Amazon
- Champion CRO and customer journey optimisation across all digital touchpoints
- Lead digital campaign planning in line with brand and marketing strategies
- Ensure digital activity is aligned with broader brand and commercial objectives
- Be the guardian of digital tactics and execution, ensuring integration across channels
Performance & Commercial Ownership
- Take full commercial ownership of Amazon and DTC as the core growth channels
- Manage digital budgets, prioritising ROAS, CPA, conversion rate and revenue generation
- Utilise data and insight to test, optimise, and scale performance across digital metrics
- Develop and lead trading plans in support of commercial and brand goals
- Execute and optimise across paid media, UX, creative and digital conversion funnels
Brand & Content Leadership
- Maintain consistency in tone, visual identity and messaging across all digital platforms
- Oversee digital content strategy, social media activity, and campaign execution
- Collaborate with the brand team to translate ATL campaigns into impactful digital activations
- Drive brand engagement through best-in-class digital storytelling and always-on content
- Lead CRM and social strategies to deepen customer engagement and brand reach
Candidate Profile
Experience & Skills
- 8+ years’ experience in digital marketing or ecommerce, ideally within beauty, health, or cosmetics sectors
- Proven track record of driving growth via Amazon and DTC channels
- Performance marketing background with deep understanding of testing, data and digital metrics
- Experienced in managing significant digital marketing budgets with demonstrable ROI
- Proficient in tools including Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, GA4, Shopify, and Amazon Seller/Vendor Central
- Strategic mindset combined with hands-on capability to execute and optimise
- Strong understanding of full-funnel digital marketing – from awareness through to conversion
