A well established, fast paced retail organisation is undergoing a period of strategic transformation. With a strong customer focus and a commitment to innovation, the business is investing in the people, processes and platforms that will drive long term value. As part of this journey, they are seeking a senior leader to shape and deliver their change agenda.

This newly created leadership role will oversee the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of strategic initiatives. Operating at the heart of the organisation, the role will lead a multidisciplinary team and work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure change is delivered with clarity, pace and impact.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a central function that brings together project delivery, business analysis, PMO and business architecture. The remit spans strategic planning, portfolio management, governance and reporting.

What you’ll be doing…
  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary change delivery team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Oversee the planning and delivery of a strategic change portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Own and evolve project delivery frameworks, tools and governance across the organisation
  • Provide clear, tailored reporting to senior stakeholders, enabling informed decision making and visibility of progress
  • Manage resource allocation and capacity planning across in flight and upcoming initiatives
  • Champion the value and impact of the change delivery function across the wider business
  • Act as a key point of contact for senior leaders, ensuring expectations are managed and communication is clear
What we’re looking for…
  • At least 7 to 10 years’ experience leading change delivery or portfolio functions in a commercial setting
  • Strong understanding of project delivery frameworks and governance best practice
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including at executive level
  • Ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary teams across project, PMO and analysis functions
  • Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, hands-on approach to delivery
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and bringing clarity to complex programmes
  • Experience in retail, digital or customer-facing sectors is desirable but not essential
