A senior fractional Marketing Director opportunity with an established investment business.

This is a high-impact role for an experienced marketing leader who can operate strategically but is also comfortable getting close to the detail. You will work directly with the CEO to shape the Group’s marketing, brand and communications strategy, strengthen its market positioning and build its profile with key external audiences.

The role is particularly suited to someone who enjoys working in an entrepreneurial, relationship-led environment and wants the flexibility of a fractional position.

The role:

You will take ownership of marketing and communications, bringing clarity and consistency to the brand while supporting commercial growth.

A key priority will be developing the private capital proposition and increasing its credibility and visibility within the market.

You will be responsible for:

* Developing and delivering the overall marketing and communications strategy

* Strengthening brand positioning, messaging and corporate reputation

* Working closely with the CEO on profile, communications and thought leadership

* Building awareness and relationships with founders, advisers and key investment audiences

* Overseeing content, digital, website and social media activity

* Managing external PR, branding, digital and specialist marketing agencies

* Creating a clear and measurable marketing plan, budget and reporting framework

* Supporting events, partnerships and relationship-building activity

* Providing senior direction across major marketing projects and ensuring activity remains commercially aligned

* Building a scalable marketing approach that can evolve with the wider business

What we’re looking for:

This is a senior appointment, and specific sector experience is essential. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

* Significant senior-level marketing experience within professional services

* Previous experience working within a private equity environment

* A strong understanding of how to market to and engage senior external stakeholders

* The confidence and credibility to speak directly with potential borrowers, understand their businesses and build trusted relationships

* Strong brand, corporate communications and reputation experience

* Experience managing agencies and external marketing partners

* The ability to work closely with CEOs, founders and senior decision-makers

* A commercially minded approach, with the ability to link marketing activity to business objectives

* Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills

* A hands-on, entrepreneurial approach and the ability to operate effectively within a lean environment

Experience across private capital, investment, professional services, healthcare/wellbeing, real estate, or other founder-led environments would be particularly relevant. The brief also calls for strong agency management, executive communications and experience developing brand/reputation strategies.

Why this role?

This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of the marketing function and have a direct influence on how an established investment business presents itself to the market.

You will work closely with the CEO, have significant autonomy and be able to shape the strategy, positioning, external profile and marketing infrastructure rather than simply managing an existing function.

Please note due to high volumes of applications unfortunately we are not always able to respond to all unsuccessful applicants. However we wish everyone who applies the very best with their job search.
