The Candidate sponsors SAScon 2015

It's nearly time for SAScon 2015, with just under one week to go until the best search, analytics and social marketers meet in the UK. Once again we're thrilled to be sponsoring the highly anticipated social event, which will be taking place in BlackDog NWS, as well as launching our latest research, Women in Digital. This year we're excited to share our findings in a panel session featuring some of the industry's leading women, and chaired by SAScon's very own Kristal Ireland.

So what have we got in store:

At the end of SAScon day 1, we invite delegates to join us at BlackDog New Wakefield Street, to take advantage of 2 complimentary drinks tokens and enjoy an evening of comedy, karaoke and BBQ food on the roof top terrace. If you're feeling in the mood for something more, then you can head across the road to BlackDog Bowl for some fun on the lanes. We hope to see you all there!

Women in Digital panel session:

Each year we commission a progressive piece of research, which aims to highlight and tackle issues in the digital sector. This year we decided to look at gender representation in today's thriving digital industry. In a panel session, taking place on Friday afternoon, speakers will look at the role women play in the digital industry and how to retain and attract the best female talent.

We will be publishing the research online at The Candidate on the morning of SAScon and would love to hear your thoughts on our findings and how we can tackle inequalities within the industry. Topics that feature in the report include; the gender representation in digital, the gender salary gap, digital education, stakeholder views and progressive case studies.

Find out what else is in store for SAScon 2015 by viewing the programme online.

Look forward to seeing you there!

Digital Marketing Recruitment Guide Digital Agency Showcase

I couldn't recommend Stevie and also Jack at the candidate enough during the process of acquiring my new position. His friendly, relaxed, but very professional approach really helped in preparing for the interview process and put any nerves I had to bed. I really appreciated the regular updates of progression from start to finish and never felt out of the loop or in the dark. I would definitely approach Stevie again if I seek further employment he and The Candidate provide an excellent service.
