The Candidate sponsors SAScon 2015

SAScon Logo

It's nearly time for SAScon 2015, with just under one week to go until the best search, analytics and social marketers meet in the UK. Once again we're thrilled to be sponsoring the highly anticipated social event, which will be taking place in BlackDog NWS, as well as launching our latest research, Women in Digital. This year we're excited to share our findings in a panel session featuring some of the industry's leading women, and chaired by SAScon's very own Kristal Ireland.

So what have we got in store:

At the end of SAScon day 1, we invite delegates to join us at BlackDog New Wakefield Street, to take advantage of 2 complimentary drinks tokens and enjoy an evening of comedy, karaoke and BBQ food on the roof top terrace. If you're feeling in the mood for something more, then you can head across the road to BlackDog Bowl for some fun on the lanes. We hope to see you all there!

Women in Digital panel session:

Each year we commission a progressive piece of research, which aims to highlight and tackle issues in the digital sector. This year we decided to look at gender representation in today's thriving digital industry. In a panel session, taking place on Friday afternoon, speakers will look at the role women play in the digital industry and how to retain and attract the best female talent.

We will be publishing the research online at The Candidate on the morning of SAScon and would love to hear your thoughts on our findings and how we can tackle inequalities within the industry. Topics that feature in the report include; the gender representation in digital, the gender salary gap, digital education, stakeholder views and progressive case studies.

Find out what else is in store for SAScon 2015 by viewing the programme online.

Look forward to seeing you there!

TESTIMONIALS

It didn’t take long to build rapport with Laura, as her excellent communication skills shone through from the start. She placed me in my most recent position and was very thorough in liaising between myself and my prospective employer at the time - an often understated skill. Moving to a new city for the position at short notice was not going to be easy, but Laura made sure I was as informed and prepped as possible when going through the interview stages and seemed to always have my best interests at heart. One of the most personable recruiters I have worked with, and I will certainly be calling her first when I am considering changing position again!
