We sat down with the Chair of the MPA, Christian James, to discuss all things MPA Thrive…
This is the 3rd year of MPA Thrive, where did the initial concept come from and what is it?
Thrive started out primarily as a resilience and health/well-being event but has evolved significantly to become the region’s leading personal and business growth event for the media, digital and creative sector.
Who should we look out for and what can we expect to see at the event?
This year we have the best line-up to date, with a wide range of exciting keynote speakers, workshop hosts and panellists. Special forces veteran Martin Murphy is ready to employ proven SAS tactics to give Manchester businesses a better chance of success. Nikki Gatenby of Propellernet will share how to achieve a super-engaged team, (delivering the Grand Prix at The Drum Awards and MD of the Year in the process!). And Wow Company co-founder Peter Czapp will be sharing the Agency Collectives’ Bench Press insights about what top performing agencies do differently. Other experts include Liane Grimshaw, Kate Rees, Dan McNicholas and Dominic McGregor to name but a few!
What will people take away from the event?
We want everyone to leave with actionable, practical knowledge about how to increase their own performance, productivity and happiness as well as that of their teams and company.
