What is it?
Social media surgeries are informal drop-in sessions where you can go and pick the brains of the 'surgeons' (helpful volunteers who understand the world of Facebook, Twitter and the rest).
Speak to experts and get tips and practical advice about how social media could help your organisation. This event is hosted at the BBC and facilitated by BBC Outreach.

The surgery will take place on Tuesday 7th May from 2pm - 4pm @ Digi-Den,Ground Floor BBC Bridge House MediaCityUK Salford Quays Salford, M50 2EQ
For who?
This event is for individuals who need a little help and guidance with Twitter, Facebook and blogs. The 'surgeons' are there to explain things and show you how to get started.
Why?
This is a great opportunity to get advice for social media experts! It's a completely free event, open to all.
