Situated near the Lancashire countryside, you'll find that our client's office is easily accessible from the motorway which is located only a short drive away! Our client has had over 60 years' worth of experience within their sector and they are still continuing to grow and prosper! With such an impressive heritage, it's not surprising that they dominate their market! Currently the company ships to over 70 countries, however, plans to increase their presence are in place! They are now looking for an experienced Web Analyst to join their friendly team in Lancashire! It will be the job of the Web Analyst to offer support to key stakeholders' as well as the wider marketing functions. The triumphant candidate will be in charge of providing insights into the web performance of both the UK and global platforms!

The Main Responsibilities of the Web Analyst:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends within the industry as well as monitoring competitor activities closely
  • Continuously analyse consumer behaviour whilst also analysing conversion data and customer journeys
  • Generate ad-hoc reports which will be used by the ecommerce team
  • On a weekly basis, produce a web trading report which will include product timely sales reports and sales forecasting
  • Provide relevant insight in order to help the lifecycle management and the NPD process
  • Determine steps which can be taken to drive the business forward by analysing the web performance
  • Report on all digital marketing campaigns and use this to identify any issues associated with the campaigns

The Key Skills required:

  • Proven experience of working within a similar role
  • An analytical mindset combined with excellent knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Proficient in Excel and ideally SQL ,however, this isn't vital
  • Excellent written and communication skills are fundamental to the job
  • Capable of prioritising your workload in order to ensure all deadlines are met  
  • Comfortable translating complex data into presentations which can be understood by all
