Our client is based in Greater Manchester and prides itself on producing the best quality sports fashion and outdoor clothing in the UK and Europe. With impressive technology innovation running through the whole business, they are looking for a candidate who can revolutionise their social media strategy!

The role will require a data orientated approach combined with a creative mindset to optimise all organic, paid and community content. You will work closely with Heads of Fascia and social media teams to focus on not only engagement and growth of social media following, but also driving traffic, footfall, revenue and conversion. The ideal candidate will be able to reach and exceed KPI’s and able to address continually changing business and market conditions.

Key Responsibilities of the Social Media Lead:

  • Ensure the building and improvement of all social media channels across the business.
  • Regular reporting of trends and performance across social media platforms.
  • Assure that maintenance and enhancement of online conversions are of the best possible quality.
  • Create engaging content for all social media platforms.
  • Plan and execute full paid social media strategy across the business.
  • Cultivate strategy and campaign ideas that will help improve follower numbers, interaction figures and revenue across all social media channels.
  • Ensure that social media content is engaging and at the heart of campaigns.
  • Develop close relationships with stakeholders and in-house teams.
  • Grow new channels and improve existing ones.
  • Use analytics and monitoring tools to gain consumer insights, target influencers and report success.
  • Provide other departments with regular updates on social media progress.
  • Guarantee the monitoring of advances in social media and technology and share interesting findings and points of interest with wider business.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a social media orientated role, particularly leading organic growth and paid social campaigns.
  • Track record leading on social media strategy for a large organisation.
  • Ability to grow and develop social media accounts based on engagement and revenue using data analysis.
  • Exceptional functional competence and confidence.
