The SEO Manager will be reporting to the head of Marketing and liaise with the Marketing team, who operate across different disciplines that include print, SEO, email, web, and mobile. As part of the job, the candidate will have a direct role in devising multi-channel campaigns that engage, inform and drive membership acquisition and retention.

Located in Manchester, our client’s offices can be easily reached both by public transport and car.

Key Responsibilit­­­ies of the SEO Manager:

  • Conduct competitor and SWOT analysis
  • Conduct keyword research to guide content teams
  • Excellent analytical skills as the successful candidate will be required to collect data, and report on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects
  • Be able to direct off-page optimisation projects – metrics and content
  • Time management is essential for developing large-scale projects that can generate a huge impact on business growth
  • Frequently measuring SEO effectiveness and contribution to growth
  • Effectively work together with the development and product teams to coordinate technical SEO and provide guidance and overseeing the execution

Key Skills of the SEO Manager:

  • A genuine interest in SEO and overall internet Marketing
  • A quick thinker with the ability to think creatively, strategically and identify and resolve problems
  • A contributing team member, who can work both independently as well as in a team
  • Adapt to a fast-paced working environment, while working towards deadlines.
  • Able to use SEO tools that include Google Analytics, Moz Analytics and OSE, Keyword research and ranking tools.
