Our client is an outstanding award-winning Consumer PR and Digital Agency who pride themselves in every aspect of their role to their clients. The client is based in Manchester City Centre at their sleek modern office. The Senior Account Managers role is to work directly with the Account Director to build and improve their team of executives and their accounts. Other responsibilities will include the development of relationships with clients and to increase profits whilst also meeting targets.

Responsibilities of the Senior Account Manager

  • Communicate efficiently with the Account Director on key objectives
  • Coordinate regular client/agency reviews
  • Overlook briefing and management of the Account Management team
  • Increase relationships with clients and grasp a good understanding of their business and their key objectives
  • Ensure that the client’s needs are met efficiently and effectively
  • Develop innovative and engaging proposals with the Account Management team and produce to the client.
  • Take control of direct reports personally
  • Keep up to date with new market trends and practices

Skills for the Senior Account Manager

  • Have working through campaigns from development to execution.
  • Experience in working with national and international campaigns
  • Experience in negotiating contracts and campaigns
  • Proven record of delivering campaigns against KPIs
  • Must be able to work on new business pitches
  • Experience in managing their own team of executives
  • Must be able to interact with multiple clients and projects
  • Must have managed budgets
  • Strong media contacts would be a great advantage
  • Experience in a fast-paced working environment
  • An extensive understanding of integrated PR and social media campaigns
  • Strong organisational skills
