Looking for a new challenge in your digital career? This South Manchester based retailer is looking for a talented individual to join them as a Paid Search Manager.

This is a large, very successful company that operates across the country. Based in a South Manchester office with great transport links nearby this is a fantastic opportunity to join an exceptional company and see yourself thrive.

The Paid Search Manager will be responsible for all of the acquisition strategies. They will oversee management of all paid search activity from conception to implementation. They will be able to work with the marketing managers to make sure that all paid search activity adheres to the overarching marketing plan. The Paid Search Manager will decide how to develop the PPC activity to reach company targets.

Key responsibilities of the Paid Search Manager:

  • Manage daily activity by working closely with Google AdWords, Bing, and the other search engine platforms
  • Follow paid search campaigns from beginning to end
  • Ensure all paid search activity stays relevant to the overall marketing strategy
  • Monitoring keyword bids, account daily, monthly budget caps, impression share, quality score and other important account metrics.
  • Keep up to date with new trends and making sure all paid search activity is up to date with industry trends
  • Keeping within the set budget
  • Monitor and evaluate search performance across all platforms and use this to improve
  • Oversee and work with the other team members to reach company targets

Key skills of the Paid Search Manager:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a Paid Search role
  • Experience in Ecommerce
  • Excellent understanding of paid search optimisation techniques
  • Experience using bid management software to manage accounts with large volumes of products
  • Google Analytics and Google Merchant Centre experience
  • Experience of PLA management on a large retail account
  • Knowledge of optimising product feeds to produce the best output for google shopping
  • Good working knowledge of Excel/Word/PowerPoint software
  • Experience with managing international accounts
