Our client has a number of worldwide brands spanning the media advertising industry. They are currently on the lookout for a competitive Motors Media Field Sales Manager to join them on their journey to build a world which wastes less.

The successful candidate will join a leading organisation within the company, which has plans to carry on with their double-digit growth. The Motors Media Field Sales Manager will be accountable for developing sales strategies and bringing in new clients. Working from home, they will also play a primary part in growing income and revenue using excellent client management and negotiation skills. As well as this, the candidate will research the competition and generate leads.

Responsibilities of the Motors Media Field Sales Manager:

  • Utilise agreed customer sales methods to close deals
  • Predict sales and develop creative sales strategies and later, analyse their efficacy
  • Understand customer skills and requirements and use these to build long-term relationships
  • Strive to meet both personal and group sales targets
  • Act as the communication link between key clients and internal departments
  • Use key metrics to compile regular reports on progress and predictions for internal and external stakeholders
  • Presence at meetings, sales events and training sessions to keep up-to-date with developments
  • Feedback to management using statistical data
  • Maintain and develop a given client database.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven sales experience, with a track record of exceeding targets in a fast-paced environment
  • Media sales experience is essential; experience of classified and display sales is desirable
  • Ability to use Salesforce.com or a similar CRM
  • An understanding of different sales techniques
  • Competent IT skills
  • A determined attitude to taking ownership, making decisions and judgement calls
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • A driven team player with excellent organisational skills
  • An approach that puts people first
