As far as reputation goes, it doesn’t get much better than this agency, they’re certainly a force to be reckoned with within the digital community and as they continue to dominate the market, they are now in need of a talented Managing Director to help them drive the company to further success. Based in the heart of Manchester City Centre, the Managing Director will be immersed in the North West’s capital of digital and creativity.

The Managing Director will help lead both UK and international clients with innovative digital strategies, client services and commercial acumen but more importantly they will be responsible for the leadership and key-decision making of a multi-award winning digital powerhouse. This role requires a self-starter with a high-level business experience who can have a positive impact on the agency. The role will encompass senior team management and direction whilst acting as a consultant to the wider team and clients in regards to campaign development, deal negotiation and project management. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and achieving financial targets and ensuring profitability in the agency is under the remit.

The Main Responsibilities of the Managing Director:

  • Effectively drive both business and client performance by identifying, leading and managing all departments in order to optimise campaign delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships in order to retain business and gain a better understanding of the client’s business needs and ensure this is reflected in their communication and growth strategies
  • Constantly identify new market opportunities via lead generation and pitching and develop aspiring company objectives which are aligned with the global vision of the agency.
  • Take full control of all commercial targets and KPIs, monitoring budgets and revenue streams in order to guarantee that all financial targets are met accordingly.
  • Become the agency’s brand ambassador by establishing a strong presence at industry events and building an un-breakable bond with the industry’s key figures.
  • Make sure that all output is of a first-class quality and that all client requirements are legally met.

The Key Skills and Attributes Required:

  • A natural born leader who’s looking for a new challenge
  • Expert knowledge and a proven-track record for delivering successful business strategies
  • Capable of using digital knowledge to deliver cutting-edge solutions to client’s needs
  • Strong knowledge of media operations across a variety of channels combined with an established marketing network
  • Ability to generate new business and generate commercial growth whilst holding a senior role within a company
