Our client is a modern and forward thinking non-profitable organisation based in a convenient location in South Manchester. In order to ensure their innovative vision is sustained in the future, they are now looking for a highly skilled Internal Communications Executive to develop an engaging communications strategy for various channels.

Reporting to the Internal Communications Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating effective content, relevant to the business objective, for a variety of audiences so that key stakeholders are well informed about business plans and priorities.

Main Roles and Responsibilities of the Internal Communications Executive:

  • Deliver internal communication to employees to ensure they are kept up-to-date with important company information. This will require designing and writing magazines, case studies, speeches, articles and annual reports in order to generate a balanced offering of digital and face-to-face communications.
  • Work closely alongside the HR/OD team and organise key business initiatives such as events, conferences, and exhibitions.
  • Write engaging copy for case studies, blogs, emails and the company website.
  • Regularly assess and review the quality of website content and carry out updates and developments.
  • Liaise with key competitors ensuring that they are notified about progress on work and maintain their confidence.
  • Collaborate with other in-house teams in order to successfully deliver conferences, road shows, and events.
  • Develop content for communication channels by developing the skills of the communications teams to support current projects.
  • Provide support for the communication of quarterly and annual financial results.
  • Collect customer feedback to gain insight on how to develop future communication approaches.

Key Skills and Attributes:

  • The minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • An excellent communicator and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Confident in liaising with key stakeholders and other in-house teams.
  • Impeccable organisational skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and able to work well within a team.
  • Able to interpret feedback and build on current protocol.
