Are you passionate about all things digital and have experience in a managerial role? 

Our client is seeking an experienced individual to take on the role of Head of Paid Social for an award winning digital agency. The role involves managing and mentoring a team of people who are constantly looking to learn more and develop their social media skills. The Head of Paid Social will be responsible for planning and delivering outstanding paid social advertising activity across a variety of social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin. 

The ideal candidate will be passionate about all things digital and have a fun but hard-working approach to work. The role requires someone who has the ability to lead a team but also motivate others, whilst offering a creative approach to marketing. The Head of Paid Social will enjoy challenges and look forward to the opportunity of working with a range of top brands whilst delivering outstanding work that drives successful business results.

The ideal Head of Paid Search Social:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a marketing agency environment or in commercial media is essential. Experience in managing large scale paid social activity will be advantageous.
  • An understanding of how developments in the industry work alongside other forms of marketing and how it will suit a client’s need is crucial to the role, therefore Paid Social experience is essential.
  • A positive attitude to work with the ability to work under pressure is crucial and you will be expected to deliver results of success.
  • A strong interest in all things digital as well as a sound knowledge of industry trends.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver creative propositions that inspire the social team.
  • Good team player and the ability to develop external and internal relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Strong analytical skills are crucial as the role require analysis of raw data to provide recommendations.
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor a team successfully and provide support and encouragement to staff across all disciplines.

Responsibilities of the Head of Paid Social:

  • Offer advice to clients by proposing strategies, technologies and solutions that are suitable to their needs and offer recommendations that will suit them.
  • Act as a mentor for the Social team. Manage their progress and provide constructive feedback to allow exceptional standards of work to be maintained.
  • Inspire the Social team to grow as professionals.
  • Coordinate implementation of each individual client account by overseeing the strategic route each social team is offering to the clients to ensure that goals are met.
  • Deliver frameworks based on successful social propositions for future use amongst the agency so that standards are maintained.
  • Oversee the agencies Social offering and manage the expansion of what they have to offer by keeping up to date with upcoming social media trends and features.
