We’re looking for a strategic thinker with a wealth of digital marketing experience! Our client needs a Head of Digital Marketing to lead a digital team into success, manage digital marketing strategies, convert leads and report directly to the Board of Directors.  

This successful candidate will be part of the senior management team and therefore an essential role for the business’ future growth for an established forward thinking business. The main responsibilities will be to lead the developments and implementations of the digital marketing and communications strategies across the business to increase offline and online lead generation. Strong digital marketing experience is required, as the Head of Digital Marketing will manage organic and paid search strategies to drive ROI.

Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the successful candidate will be an essential role for the future of the business, so highly strategic level thinking and previous experience in growing a business are required to succeed in this role. The Head of Digital Marketing must have a digital-first mindset and the ability to develop strategies that can be implemented across multiple brands and include social media and search tactics.

Main responsibilities of the Head of Digital Marketing

  • Develop and implement overall digital marketing and public relation communications strategies to enhance corporate brand awareness and brand image
  • Manage PPC, SEO and Social Media strategies to increase lead generation
  • Responsible for external media relations
  • Report digital marketing performance and analysis to the Board of Directors
  • Manage company editorial and literature
  • Lead offline marketing activities when appropriate
  • Work with the teams to conduct market research reports to identify trends and address any new opportunities to implement
  • Grow a talented team and maintain a great team spirit work environment through effective management tactics
  • Create effective working processes internally in the team to ensure all marketing activities are in line with the communication guidelines

Required skills and experience of the Head of Digital Marketing

  • Have a degree in Marketing or Advertising
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a digital marketing role
  • Previous experience of managing multiple digital marketing – and direct marketing campaigns and managing budgets
  • Hands-on digital marketing experience and ability to lead the digital marketing teams to success
  • Ability to convert leads and report performance
  • Previous experience of writing press releases and working closely with external media companies
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify trends from market and competitor research
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • A digital and entrepreneurial mindset
  • A driven and targeted individual who is actively want to add value to the business
  • strong team management skills and being a team player
