A highly successful international sports fashion retailer based in Greater Manchester are looking for a Head of Customer Insight to lead a large team of professionals and take responsibility for Group Multi-Channel reports.

We have a very exciting opportunity for a customer insight expert to lead a department of insight professionals as a Head of Customer Insight! Our client is an international sports fashion retailer based in Greater Manchester. The company is continuing to succeed and grow across the world and therefore need to expand their skilled team.  

The Head of Customer Insight will lead their own team within the department, ensuring that high-quality outputs are delivered to base marketing and commercials decisions on. The successful candidate will be responsible for all Group Multi-Channel reports, ensuring that the company presents analysis in the best possible way.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Head of Customer Insight:

  • Be responsible for Group Multi-Channel reports, ensuring the best possible analysis
  • Manage data reports and turn data and reports into reporting frameworks
  • Present reports and news to other members of the company
  • Turn insights into recommendations
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, making sure to answer the wider business question
  • Take ownership of the business intelligence and data visualisation processes
  • Come up with a business-orientated strategy to evolve the department and outputs

Required Skills and Attributes of the Head of Customer Insight:

  • Commercial experience of turning data into stories
  • Experience in delivering analysis across a variety of verticals
  • Would be advantageous to have knowledge about trends and challenges in the retail industry
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong leadership skills – can effectively motivate a team and oversee the development of team members
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial
