We’re on the hunt for the master of digital to join an international award-winning media agency as Digital Specialist and work with the most globally recognised brands. Outstanding digital skills within paid and organic media are essential, as the Digital Specialist will work on a Business Director level and get a chance to set their digital footprint on a renowned agency.  

This agency is known for influencing the digital market and their competitors are always looking for their next move! They create some of the most inspirational and innovative campaigns on a global scale, which has resulted in numerous awards. The office is based in a trendy and spacious office in the centre of Manchester with plenty of social and shopping opportunities on their doorstep, where lunches and drinks after work are part of the culture. As they are multi-award winning it is likely that you will have to get your glad rags on and attend some award ceremonies from time to time.

The Digital Specialist will work on a Director level, which means that the successful candidate will lead the company leading clients’ directors on the newest digital trends and developments including data plans and be the advisor for marketing principles and challenges. The Digital Specialist with identify the gaps in the client’s marketing activities and provide the key digital solutions and training where required. This role is truly based on being the specialist within the company, as the successful candidate will line manage and cultivate the Digital Directors within the teams, whilst leading project teams if required.

Main responsibilities and required attributes of the Digital Specialist

  • It is a key requirement that the candidate has an outstanding knowledge and expertise within organic and paid media (PPC, Display etc.) enable to be considered for this role.
  • Work closely with the Digital Director and Client Partner on digital profitability on new and existing clients
  • Lead key digital marketing transformation strategies for the brand’s leading clients
  • Be a good problem-solver and think outside of the box to Identify new digital opportunities
  • Run the digital product development for the agency
  • Have outstanding communication skills to inform and train clients in a professional manner
  • Lead key projects, when digital specialist expertise is required
  • Track delivery and performance and client growth plans within campaign management
  • Constantly be up to date on the newest digital trends and development, enable to be an innovative body and specialist, whilst learning new principles from specialist teams within the business
  • Be a strong front figure within digital for the company brand by digital product development, speaking at conferences/events or having a presence in the media. The successful candidate must, therefore, be highly confident and have excellent presentation skills.
  • Set the digital agenda through constructive market level analysis
