Our client is an award-winning digital agency, based in the heart of Manchester, and they are now on the hunt for somebody who is remarkable at creating and managing excellent client relationships as part of their everyday duties.

As the Digital Director, you will be responsible for the digital transformation and delivery for a set of clients and take full ownership of the quality of the output. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to continually seek ways to increase revenue and hit KPI’s.

Key Roles and Responsibilities of the Digital Director:

  • Manage client relationships and lead a team of Account Directors to deliver top-quality market and commercially viable digital solutions.
  • Key role in driving the agencies digital capabilities forward, from briefing to delivery, ensuring quality in output.
  • Hold responsibility for the quality of digital media output across search, social, display and affiliates for your assigned client group whilst meeting business goals.
  • Ensure that all accounts have a clear optimisation schedule and work with the planning team to form a fully integrated approach.
  • Drive appropriate use of industry tools, templates, and best practices.
  • Develop strong relationships with relevant media owners and regularly review account performance.

Key Skills and Attributes:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Outstanding leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Confident with putting recommendations and requests forward in Board meetings in order to contribute to the building of the business.
  • A strong understanding of the digital and data landscape, able to decode and explain complex topics with ease.
  • Able to crisis manage where needed.
  • Able to work in a KPI driven environment.
