Are you ready to lead data for a prosperous business? Our client is looking for a Data Analyst to join their successful team based in Manchester!

Our client is a health solutions company based in Manchester and is looking for Data Analyst to take ownership of the analysis and presentation of data to measure the performance and results of national and local consultancy projects. Based in spacious offices there are great commuter access and on-site car parking facilities.

Responsibilities of the Data Analyst:

  • Create framework for receipt of data from clients
  • Review and validate data returns and where necessary with data entry
  • Carry out scenario analysis and simulation modelling
  • Crunch, analyse and communicate data to stakeholders through most appropriate methods or channels
  • Through analysis quantify qualitative and quantitative data in range of formats such as statistical testing
  • Be the point of contact for clients when data and analysis to provide insight.
  • Be proactive in communicating data through leading workshops
  • Analyse internal data to optimise the processes and company revenue and results
  • Identify issues and make recommendation and solutions where possible

Skills of the Data Analyst:

  • Expert level at Excel and Microsoft office packages
  • Highly analytical and mathematical with full understanding of profitability density functions, cumulative density functions looking at Normal and Poisson distributions, histograms and array percentile boundary points.
  • Skillset to generate and interpret box plots
  • Understanding of discrete event simulation modelling techniques
  • Full grasp of geometric series, and calculating geometric series
  • Some familiarity of key healthcare metrics would be highly advantageous
  • Confidence and personal skills to present and communicate complicated and articulate data to clients and stakeholders
