Are you looking to progress your career in Online Merchandising? A globally renowned retailer is looking for three Assistant Online Merchandisers to join their team based in Manchester. This company offers amazing opportunities to progress and a significant discount on international brands!

Our client is a highly successful global retailer who specialises in the distribution of top fashion and sportswear brands. Their fantastic work culture has played a central role in their success, and they are now on the hunt for three new Assistant Online Merchandisers to work at their Head Office in Manchester. This opportunity for an individual who has experience in online merchandising to work for an international recognised brand! 

The successful candidate will assist the Online Merchandiser in creating reports on best sellers and daily sales performance, and you will ensure that all stock is displayed correctly on all online channels. It is important to have strong analytical skills to be considered for this role, and previous experience in Online Merchandising within eCommerce environment is essential! 

Main Roles and Responsibilities of the Assistant Online Merchandiser:

  • Review sales figures against the forecasts daily, identifying any potential threats before making changes to ensure forecasts are achieved
  • Use Google Analytics to check the consumer behaviors, and change strategies where possible
  • Regularly check the automated reports to identify underperforming products/categories and fix accordingly
  • Monitor the product intake and ensure that all the stock in the Warehouse (especially the best sellers) is available and displayed correctly on all relevant channels
  • Complete product attribution through the PIM tool
  • Complete and distribute the weekly trading report and provide the results to the Web Team
  • Ensure that site navigation and filters are visible and being optimised across the appropriate channels
  • Process stock approvals, IBTs, and Fast Tracks to recall stock from stores
  • Liaise with the Buying teams to fully understand the products and keep aware of intake dates
  • Use KPI reporting to monitor samples from the warehouse to photography

Required Skills and Attributes of the Assistant Online Merchandiser:

  • Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Experience within a Multi-Channel/Merchandising environment
  • Proven experience of working as an Online Merchandiser for an eCommerce company
  • Experience of using Google Analytics or other website analysis tools including identifying trends
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are vital when liaising with other team members
