Website Optimisation Executive - £30,000 – Wigan – Ethical Business

My client help keyworkers save money across the healthcare, education, care, and charity sectors. They do amazing things and being able to give them something back as a small thank you is what drives them every day.

They are going through a period of fantastic growth and as a result, they’re looking for a talented Website Optimisation Executive to join the team and to help deliver and expand the business’ marketing and data strategies.

This is an exciting role that will allow you to turn ideas into a practical reality. The role will support development of the Product Roadmap.

You will continually evaluate and review all aspects of the site experience, be a problem solver and aim to improve and grow the commercial success of the digital product.

The successful candidate will work with the Digital Product team, and internal business teams on defining and identifying website opportunities, building high quality user experience and support daily business activity.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the creation and maintenance of landing pages, utilising tools and processes for basic mock-ups or wireframes where necessary, to plan work with stakeholders.
  • Manage the overall web content, conducting regular audits to ensure content remains relevant and accurate.
  • Working closely with the wider team to support campaigns and other marketing or product placement activity.
  • Working with internal teams to maintain and build on existing standards of layout and design, in line with brand and system best practice.
  • Working with the wider team to support and maintain SEO best practice, assessing changes and identifying improvements.
  • Review and improve the performance of key web metrics through Google Analytics as well as other insight and testing tools
  • Research & monitor the wider market and digital product activity, to support the business in maintaining a competitive edge
  • Being proactive with conducting regular testing of user journeys; escalating any unforeseen issues, or highlighting areas for improvement against Digital and Strategic priorities.

About you:

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Experience using website content management systems
  • An excellent communicator, driving strong clear messaging to stakeholders
  • You’ll have hands on experience in a similar role
  • Experience using Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of HTML (basic)
  • Understanding of analytics and the ability to use data to build business cases and drive business recommendations
  • Experience with web platform testing tools (particularly A/B testing)
  • Comfortable taking direction and feedback from multiple stakeholders both internal and external.
