Web Optimisation Specialist - London (hybrid) - Up to £45,000 - Pharmaceutical

Brilliant opportunity to join a world-renowned healthcare brand as their Web Specialist operating across Switzerland and the USA and has further subsidiaries in Europe, North America, and Asia, employing over 1,000 people worldwide. You’ll benefit from hybrid working with only 2 days a week in the office!

You’ll lead the development of Web content for the new product launches and global events and collaborate with the key stakeholders (IT, Regional partners, marketing) making sure that website visitors having the best-in-class user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work together with the head of website to manage day to day the website and optimize its performance on a continuing basis.
  • Effectively collaborate with the key stakeholders (IT, Regional partners, marketing) making sure that website visitors having the best-in-class user experience.
  • Drive SEO ensuring the best search results and growing organic traffic.
  • Lead the development of WEB content for the new product launches and global events.
  • Ensure that the website is protected by enabling the appropriate security measures.
  • Conduct content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information.
  • Provide web support to the local markets fixing bugs and managing change requests.
  • Ensure website quality and efficiency by conducting regular test plans.
  • Collaborate with all staff and management to ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy and meets the organization’s standards.
  • Ensure full compliance on the website with all laws and regulations.
  • Keep up to date with industry best practices and monitor competitor websites.
  • Manage external agencies that deliver SEO, WEB support/maintenance, WEB development, WEB analytics setup, WEB domains support.

Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science, IT, Digital Marketing, or a related qualification.
  • At least 3 years of work experience as a website specialist/manager.
  • Highly proficient in HTML, XHTML, CSS design, cross-browser, and cross-platform. compatibility, firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Access, MySQL, and JavaScript.
  • Great understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Paid Per Click (PPC).
  • Ability to troubleshoot website issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent content creation and writing skills.
  • Fantastic time management skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Fluent English, other languages would be the great advantage.
  • Manage external agencies that deliver SEO, WEB support/maintenance, WEB development, WEB analytics setup, WEB domains support.
