The Candidate are partnered with a reputable digital agency in their search for a Web Developer to join their expanding development team. Based in Liverpool City Centre, this agency creates bespoke experience and brands for some of the largest businesses across the UK. As the Web Developer, you will bring a passion for all things digital including design, programming, and integration. Given the natural array and scope of clients which this agency represents, you will have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of digital projects whilst given the autonomy to introduce new tech on projects.

Due to the growth of the entire development team in this agency, they can offer multiple variations of the Web Developer role which suits front end, back end, or full stack applicants. For those wishing to expand your commercial experience from either front end or back end into full stack, training & course budgets are on offer as part of the agency’s culture and ethos.

The business is working on a fully remote basis at the moment but plan to return to a predominantly office based environment when possible. Flexible working is on office from their Liverpool City Centre offices.

Key Responsibilities of the Web Developer:

  • Building websites and bespoke experiences using WordPress CMS.
  • Contribute to both greenfield and modernisation projects for clients across the UK.
  • Creation of APIs to allow for unique functionality to websites.
  • Constantly stay up to date with best practises, new tech and methodologies to support the wider development team.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders to enable the smooth communication of project updates.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of 2 years commercial experience with strong knowledge on WordPress Development.
  • Strong knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Passionate about continuing your learning with an array of courses and training on offer.
  • Ability to form relationships with wider business stakeholders including operations, digital and marketing teams.
