Web Analyst – Travel – Leeds City Centre - £27,000 to £30,000

Attention Analysts! Join a high-flying travel company based in the heart of Leeds as their new Web Analyst!

Our client is a highly recognisable, multi-award-winning travel business which boasts an array of services for its loyal customer base. As their unprecedented success continues to grow, even more, they are now looking to hire a talented Web Analyst to take charge of their website analytics.

Reporting to the Senior Web Insight Analyst, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with key business decisions through insight and analytics. This is a wonderful opportunity where the Web Analyst will have a huge impact on the business!

The Main Responsibilities of the Web Analyst:

  • Develop and deliver key digital data in order to aid and optimise business decisions across all brands.
  • Grow their understanding of the websites by analysing all technical elements, understanding customer behaviour and turning results into insight.
  • Generate regular, accurate reports and presenting these to senior members of the team.
  • Work closely with the Business Intelligence team and aid them with reporting and setting up visuals by using Tableau.
  • Take full control for the process of setting up, reporting and evaluating marketing performance, conversion analysis, traffic analysis and consumer analysis.
  • When required, assist with ad analysis by working with the appropriate business stakeholders.
  • In terms of acquisition and retention channels, develop cross-device attribution reporting.
  • Support the marketing team in terms of the marketing plans by providing them with accurate insight.
  • Liaise with the UX and IT departments in order to execute Google Analytics Premium and Google Tag Manager.
  • Conduct thorough testing which test all new tracking prior to launch.

The Key Skills and Attributes of the Web Analyst:

  • Previous experience in a similar Web Analyst role
  • Strong understanding of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics
  • Experience with SQL and a sound understanding of Microsoft Excel would also be advantageous
  • Excellent mathematical, communication and problem-solving skills are a must
  • An eye for detail combined with the ability to interpret large data sets
  • Ambitious and eager to grow their career with a large business
