Based in Greater Manchester, our client is a forward-thinking, highly established retailer which has over 50 stores nationwide. Over the years they have accumulated a loyal army of customers across the UK, thanks to their high-quality products. As their success continues to grow, they are now looking to add fresh talent to the team in the form of a UX Researcher.

Working at their Head Office in the eCommerce department, the UX Researcher will be accountable for the business’ website through customer insights, A/B testing and user research whilst also creating an efficient customer journey. Our client is looking for an individual who’s comfortable working in a fast-paced, can demonstrate a strong UX knowledge and has a proactive approach to their work!

The Key Responsibilities of the UX Researcher:

  • Take full control of the test strategy from idea to creation to analysis of the results.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry trends, changes and best practices in order to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of buyer personas and behaviours in order to influence future behaviours.
  • Present all information in a clear and concise manner which can be interpreted by a variety of teams.

The Key Skills and Attributes of the UX Researcher:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a similar UX role
  • Strong portfolio in delivering user-centered solutions combined with an experience-based knowledge of the processes behind websites and apps
  • Expert understanding of Google Analytics and Hotjar along with Wireframing and Prototyping skills
  • Can demonstrate a sound knowledge of front-end technology and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail skills
