UX Designer – Warrington- £50k DOE

Our client is looking for a creative UX Designer, with 3+ years' industry experience, strong creative vision and enthusiasm, looking to build upon their existing skills and learn from other creative disciplines in a fast-paced, progressive environment. As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for delivering the best online user experience, which makes your role extremely important for success and ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

You will bring your ideas, passion, and problem-solving approaches to help deliver fresh, creative solutions. You’ll be a team player, ensuring that delivery is of the highest standard, both creatively and technically and will embrace the variety of work, enjoy the buzz of a dynamic working environment and be brimming with creative ideas.

Key Functions:

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
• Develop UI mock ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
• Familiar with the fundamentals of design such as motion, layout, typography and composition, but always looking to learn and improve
• Keeping up with design standards from the industry (e.g. Android/iOS design guidelines)
• Passionate, driven and wanting to invest in Creative Design’s vision and culture
• Organised with excellent attention to detail

Your Skills:

• Proven work experience as a UX Designer or similar role
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and Balsamiq)
• Team spirit: strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Good time-management skills
• Experience with modern design tools (e.g. Figma)
• Experience with the Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat and Dreamweaver
• A passion for design, creative flair, and willingness to learn
• Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Good time management skills to meet tight deadlines across multiple projects and cope with change in priorities
• Be up to date on current design trends to bring fresh ideas and innovation into your work.
• An exciting portfolio which brings to life your experience of the above

It’s a Bonus If…

• You have a background in fast paced environment in a beauty, fashion, or aesthetics industry
• BSc in Design, Computer Science, or relevant field
• Existing HTML/CSS experience to create working prototypes
