Our client is one of the largest fashion retailers in the industry and they pride themselves on delivering the latest fashion trends to women across the globe! Situated in a luxurious, state-of-the-art office in Manchester, this is the perfect environment to grow in an innovative, forward thinking business. They are looking for an experienced individual to put their extensive commercial trading experience within fashion. The ideal person for this role will have a fantastic work ethic, an outgoing personality, and the ambition to join a dedicated team!

Roles and Responsibilities of the Trading Manager:

  • To deliver sales growth through the acquisition and retention of partnerships and collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Assist in ownership of the company P&L
  • Work hard to deliver sales and margin targets
  • Create and develop opportunities for growth of the US and marketplaces
  • Create and develop annual robust business plan and align this with overall company budgeting processes
  • Carry out analysis and performance of new business development
  • High focus on creating an innovative, growth delivering business with an entrepreneurial atmosphere
  • Implement the commercial strategy for USA and rest of the world in line with overall business objectives

Skills and Attributes:

  • Extensive experience in a fast paced energetic roles preferably in fashion or luxury candidates
  • 2-3 years experience in site trading
  • Highly entrepreneurial outlook and can deliver performance in developing, new and multiple markets
  • Ability to create interesting, deliverable marketing strategies
  • Highly numerical with the ability to analyse and interpret and budget
  • Highly organised and an excellent communicator across all mediums
  • Influencer with good negotiating skills
  • Confident of change management and able to see projects through from concept to completion
  • Customer centric and insists upon keeping the customer at the centre of all trading activity
  • Highly motivated and infectious spirit even in downtime and hectic atmosphere
  • Humble and able to work part of a critical team where everyone’s ideas and objectives are important
