Our client has offices in across the UK and the successful candidate will be based in their Manchester office. The digital agency has experienced a phenomenal amount of success since opening their doors over a decade ago and has they continue to expand their business and develop their portfolio of first-class clients, they are now looking for a strong SEO Technical Account Manager to join their team of creative and technical geniuses! The SEO Technical Account Manager will be responsible for managing key clients online marketing campaigns; ensuring that performance is optimised. An individual who has excellent time and budget management skills will thrive within this role as it entails working with large budgets.

The Main Responsibilities of the SEO Technical Account Manager:

  • Focus on managing a portfolio of key client’s online marketing campaigns whilst also maintaining an up - to- date knowledge on all campaigns.
  • From client briefs, devise cutting-edge campaigns which are designed to deliver the expected results.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and effectively communicate with the clients in order to ensure they have a full understanding of their campaigns progress.
  • Produce reports which highlight the performance of each campaign and make recommendations based on the conclusions drawn.
  • Attend client meetings and ensure that all marketing campaigns are completed within the agreed time frame.
  • Work closely with the Sales Account Manager to ensure a united client management approach is displayed within the office and adhere to SLAs and communication plans.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure that troubleshooting action plans are implemented across the board whilst adapting campaigns to reflect search engines and algorithms updates.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry developments and changes.

The Perfect Candidate:

  • Proven experience of successfully managing multiple high-quality SEO campaigns.
  • A minimum of 2 years Technical SEO experience is essential for this role
  • Prior experience of working within an agency environment would also be beneficial
  • Excellent analytical, time management and budget management skills along with a keen ‘eye for detail’
  • Fantastic written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build a strong rapport with a multitude of different individuals on various levels in company and client meetings
  • Comfortable interpreting client requirements and translating them into detailed action plans
  • Capable of prioritising their workload in order to ensure that all deadlines are met within the agreed time frame whilst also exceeding the client's expectations
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, other spreadsheet packages and a strong technical understanding of website architecture
  • Proven experience of building websites, building link networks and running blogs
