Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Strategist/Account Manager to lead performance strategies that drive organic traffic and lead generation. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on using data to create optimized, informative, and engaging strategies to achieve client objectives. You will work alongside the wider SEO team and report directly to the Head of SEO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality SEO content strategies for both short- and long-term objectives.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities to enhance website performance through content-led campaigns.
  • Lead keyword research and optimize content, maintaining high standards across all client websites.
  • Utilize Google Analytics to produce performance reports, linking results to client goals and KPIs.
  • Understand and utilize all available marketing and SEO channels to impact overall performance and client goals.
  • Ensure client business objectives are clearly understood and consider all KPIs when mapping out optimized website strategies.
  • Schedule work to ensure all deliverables are planned accurately, holding team members accountable for their contributions.
  • Plan budget and quarterly deliverables to meet strategic goals.
  • Regularly communicate with clients, updating them on work, opportunities, and pitching for new campaign spending.
  • Collaborate with the content team to identify areas for improvement and use creative campaigns to add value to client strategies.

Qualifications

  • Relevant marketing qualification or 2+ years of experience in a marketing or SEO role.
  • Commercial understanding of the impact of digital campaigns.
  • Experience creating and executing successful B2B and B2C strategies.
  • Working knowledge of SEO and basic keyword research.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Search Console, Keyword Planner, and Ahrefs (or equivalent) with skills to evaluate data and make strategic decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
