Statistical Data Analyst – Analytics – Manchester - £25,000 to £35,000

Calling all Statistical Data Analysts! Do you have a passion for interpreting and analysing data? Are you an enthusiastic individual? Then we have the opportunity for you.

Our client is looking for a passionate individual who’s ready to join their team and expand their analytics function. Located in the busy environment of Manchester, the company has recently relocated itself into newly built state-of-the-art offices designed to cater to your analytical needs.

The successful candidate will undertake a multitude of tasks including the simulation of modelling and its development. They will also analyse the presentation of data and reports, finding the performance and results of local and national consultancy projects.

The Main Responsibilities of a Statistical Data Analyst:

  • Analyse client data sets in order to discover hidden insights.
  • Generating complex simulation models of healthcare systems to assist clients with the understanding their patient flow, capacity and pinch-points.
  • Perform statistical tests to evaluate the impacts of high-profile.
  • Creation and development of in-house simulation modelling software.
  • Produce qualitative analytical reports for client-based service.
  • Create engaging visualisations using R or other methods.

The Ideal Statistical Data Analyst:

  • Experienced individual with 1-2 years of relevant industry knowledge.
  • Advanced user of Excel with the ability to use SQL.
  • Experienced with using R, Python, or other similar technology.
  • Work with healthcare data.
  • Previous knowledge of programming and experience using simulation modelling.
