Our client is a leading creative event management agency based in Manchester! They work on a variety of events, including award ceremonies, conferences, and exhibitions for some well-known clients. Due to their continuing growth, they are on the lookout for a new Sponsorship Sales Manager to work on innovative events to enhance the reputation of their clients!

As the Sponsorship Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth in sponsorship sales across the agency! You will work on new business pitches and ensure that sponsorship packages are sold and managed effectively. To be considered for this role, it is important to have at least 3 years’ sales experience, ideally in a media sales, event, or sponsorship environment.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Sponsorship Sales Manager:

  • Develop and pitch sponsorship packages across a variety of B2B events
  • Build new markets for potential sponsors
  • Build relationships using social media
  • Liaise with the events team and provide sales support
  • Manage communication between clients and the agency to ensure that events are running smoothly
  • Work on new business pitches
  • Manage financial activity, such as invoicing and payments
  • Complete weekly time sheets and post-event evaluation reports

Required Skills and Attributes of the Sponsorship Sales Manager:

  • Educated to degree level, or have relevant work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ sales experience
  • Can work well under pressure on several tasks
  • Understanding of the digital industry
  • Able to develop and maintain strong working relationships
  • Excellent organisation, management, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Able to drive and willing to travel
