The Social Media Specialist will be reporting to the Content Marketing Manager and a key element of the role will involve executing the business’ social media strategy whilst optimising paid social media channels in order to increase brand awareness, generate new business and drive inbound traffic.

The Main Responsibilities of the Social Media Specialist:

  • Ensure that social media is utilised in the overall marketing strategy as this will help achieve all KPIs
  • Plan and implement a cutting-edge social media strategy which will set the company apart from its competitors
  • Liaise closely with the relevant Marketing and Digital teams in order to set-up campaign targeting
  • Co-ordinate all social media campaigns with the wider content marketing calendar whilst also ensuring all campaign information is up-to-date
  • Take charge of the business’ social media platforms, campaigns and profiles including Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin
  • Regularly evaluate the organisation’s social media policy and recommend amendments when appropriate
  • Record and analyse social media data and utilise this information for future campaigns
  • Build strong work relationships with the UX, Design, IT and Digital teams whilst also working closely with the Paid Acquisition Manager
  • Ensure a seamless customer journey and fully integrated campaign by communicating effectively with the digital and strategic marketing team
  • When required, work with external social media partners when appropriate

The Perfect Candidate:

  • A degree in Marketing, PR, Business or Communications would be ideal
  • Proven experience in social media marketing is essential
  • Strong knowledge of online marketing and all major marketing channels
  • Fantastic communication and organisational skills
  • Capable of writing, editing and presenting
  • Excellent knowledge of social analytic tools and an enthusiastic attitude
  • Online B2B marketing experience combined with a proven track-record of running paid social campaigns
  • Comfortable generating engaging content and building a brand
  • Experience within the recruitment industry would be ideal but it’s not vital
