Looking for the opportunity to manage your own Social Media team? Then we have the perfect role for you. Work as a Social Media Manager for a highly ambitious and award-winning team in Manchester.

Our client is looking for an experienced individual ready to lead their own team in the social media world. The role involves providing a leadership overview of the different social programmes, assisting the in-house designers and animators with the creation of social content. As well as leading a social creative session for the development of senior team members

With a state-of-the-art office based in the hustle and bustle of Manchester, the ideal candidate will be a passionate and motivated individual, tasked with strategically managing their team. Managerial skills and leadership qualities are essential with this position as they are required to inspire members whilst meeting deadlines and targets.

Responsibilities of the Social Media Manager

  • Managerial and leadership skills
  • Extensive planning and organisation in regard to delegating workloads to different departments
  • Overseeing the social media work produced by senior team members, providing necessary and constructive feedback
  • An understanding of the behaviours within social media and an eye for noticing new trends
  • Analyse competitor behaviours and trends in order to compete with new trends forming
  • Provide support in the creation of projects and for team members

The Key Skills of a Social Media Manager:

  • Previous experiences in a relative industry with 3 to 5 years of managing experience.
  • A professional level of oral and written skills to delegate to members of staff
  • Knowledge of the social media industry
  • Necessary IT skills
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and staff members
